Our name reflects what we stand for: being a strong starting point for lifelong oral health, built on trust, consistency, and attention to detail.

Meet Dr. McCollum
Owner + Lead Dentist
Dr. Ryan McCollum is the owner and lead dentist at Headwaters Dental Studio. He believes great dentistry starts with trust, clear communication, and doing the right thing—even when no one’s looking (especially then).

Before opening Headwaters Dental Studio, Dr. McCollum served as a dentist in the United States Navy, where he honed his clinical skills in high-pressure environments and learned the value of calm, steady leadership. Today, he brings that same precision and focus to comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on long-term oral health and modern, conservative care.

Dr. McCollum is known for his relaxed, down-to-earth approach. He takes time to listen, explain options clearly, and help patients make confident decisions—without pressure. Whether it’s routine care or more advanced treatment, his goal is simple: dentistry that’s comfortable, honest, and built to last.

Outside the office, Dr. McCollum enjoys life in northern Minnesota with his family, embracing lake life, fitness, and community. He’s proud to serve the area he calls home and looks forward to building long-lasting relationships with patients of all ages.
Meet Dr. Winslow
Dentist
Dr. Winslow is originally from Polson, MT. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry from Carroll College in Helena, MT and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota.
She has furthered her education by becoming a Las Vegas Institute (LVI) certified dentist, specializing in neuromuscular dentistry. She loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.​
